The original U-Rail system
The U-Rail was invented in the 1970s by Dr. Wolfram Winkler and remains one of the most economical systems for installing underfloor heating. The side springs clamp the pipe with millimetre precision at the specified spacing – without additional fasteners, without tape and without the pipe slipping.
Alongside the classic U-Rail we offer U-Rails ZS, Penta Rails, Octarails, JetRails and Flip Rails. Together they cover every common pipe diameter from 14 to 25 mm and laying distances from 5 to 30 cm – for residential buildings, industrial halls and stadium turf heating.
Suitable substrates and applications
Our U-rails are used on screed, concrete, soil, insulation panels and foil constructions. They suit wet and dry screed, industrial floors, wall heating and ceiling cooling, as well as outdoor and sports-area heating.
Depending on the substrate, the rail is fixed with holding pins, plastic nails, staples or directly with our gas-powered setting tool.
