What is a plastic bend support?

A bend support is a curved guide made of high-temperature-resistant plastic that routes the heating pipe at the heating circuit manifold and in tight bends. It keeps the bending radius in shape and protects the pipe from kinking.

Why does a heating pipe need a bend support at the manifold?

In tight bends the pipe is compressed and the flow rate drops. The bending radius should be at least five times the pipe diameter – the bend support maintains exactly this radius permanently, even with a warm pipe.

Which pipe diameters do bend supports cover?

Our WSK and WSKO variants cover all common pipe diameters, from heating circuit pipe to manifold pipe. They are simply clipped over the bent pipe – no tools needed.
